Classroom Use
|
I
honestly did not care for this book. If I had to use it in a classroom, it
would be good to use if speaking about Parents, Guardians, or Foster Parents
and Adaption. It would also be an interesting ghost story.

Book Summary
|
Jack has murdered all the members of a family except for the toddler
upstairs. What Jack did not know is that the toddler has climbed out of his
crib and went up a hill to a graveyard where he is found by some ghosts. The
ghosts decide to keep him and Mr. and Mrs. Owens become his foster parents.
His caretaker is Silas and he is responsible for providing for the baby known
as Nobody. Jack, known as the man Jack, thinks that the toddler has crawled
down a hill and he loses his trail. Nobody grows up in the grave yard. He
becomes friends with a girl named Scarlett and her mother tells her that
Nobody is her imaginary friend. Scarlett and her family end up moving to Scotland
and as years passed Scarlett and her mother come back to town because her
parents divorced. In the meantime, Jack is still looking for the toddler to
kill him. Scarlett made friends with a man named Jay. Jay lives in the house
that Nobody lived in when his family got murdered. When Nobody visits the
house to learn more about his family, Jay attacks him. Jay is Jack, the guy
who was looking for the toddler. Nobody and Scarlett escape and Jack takes
Scarlett captive but is tricked and the Sleer engulfs him. Scarlett is
shocked about what happened and does not think that Nobody should have killed
Jay so Silas suggest removing her memory. Nobody does not want to do that but
it happens anyway. At the end of the book, Nobody grows up and he starts to
lose his ability to see ghosts and he leaves the graveyard to start his new
life. |
