Classroom Use
|
I
believe this book would be interesting for kids. It shows cleverness,
creativity and will help them use their imagination. I would have them write
a short story about what they would do if they were one of the pigs.

Book Summary
|
This
picture book begins with three pigs collecting materials and going off to
build houses of straw, sticks, and bricks. But the wolf s huffing and puffing
blows the first pig right out of the story. Literally. The pigs are on an
adventure with some different characters and they decide to invite two of
them back to the “real” story. They bring back a cat and a dragon, which they
saved from being slayed, and the dragon saves them from the big bad wolf.
